Why do they refuse to say GNU, do they have an Anti-GNU agenda.

Examples (I will keep adding them here as I come accross more examples) :
Video by TechHut titled "Why don't more people use Debian Linux?"

video by ExplainingComputers called "Debian 12: Milestone Linux Distro" in the video at 0:17 he says "Debian Linux distro" which is incorrect, Debian is officially called "Debian GNU/Linux"

examples of GNU intentionally being omitted:


"Debian 12 might be the best Linux Distro" by techhut
Altough in this example he doesn't specifically say the wrong "Debian Linux", GNU is still omitted, instead Debian is called a "Linux distro" which is wrong and unfortunately a very common thing to see.

another example of GNU being omitted despite frequent mentions of "Debian" and "Linux", no "GNU" to be found.

I don't tink I have ever heard the youtuber "Chris Titus Tech" once mention "GNU" despite his channel having numerous videos about GNU/Linux distros.


Those are a few examples from big youtubers, but how do you explain the fact that many distros don't even mention GNU in their name for example:
Linux Mint
Fedora Linux
Garuda Linux
Arch Linux
MX Linux
Linux Lite
SparkyLinux
arcoLinux
AlmaLinux
Puppy Linux
Gentoo Linux

You can't argue that because GNU is supposedly difficult to pronounce that's why GNU is not in the name of those distros. So why is it not in the name, if not an anti-GNU agenda.
