The April 8, 2024 Solar Eclipse in Tennessee
I recorded the entire solar eclipse that happened on April 8, 2024 from Middle Tennessee. The clouds covered about 60% of the sky, but even with the clouds I was still able to capture most of the eclipse happening on camera. The totality path passed over Mexico, the USA including Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. It also passed through parts of Canada in it's totality stage. Where I recorded the eclipse from, the moon covered 95% of the sun. In Nashville, the eclipse began at 12:44pm CDT, peaked at 2:03PM CDT, and ended at 3:20PM CDT.
