2The Ascent - Let's Play Part 3 - The Morgue People. This video is Part 3 of an adventure into The Ascent's world. In this series we take on the challenges The Ascent has to offer and explore the gameplay, from the beginning and through to the end. In the 3st part of this adventure:
Straight into the action I jumped. Bullets were flying everywhere. You might think that’s because I was in a giant battle and you wouldn’t be wrong. But the main reason was because I was not hitting anything. I had aim assist to 0 (None). I looked like a freakin’ stormtrooper.
I don’t know how hard destiny had to work for this but MY GOD. I randomly find a Handcannon (my favorite ranged weapon probably) just sitting on the ground. Shoots like a cannon and has the accuracy of a freakin' sniper. That weapon, together with my new mask oooh boy, cool as hell.
I went to the Biochoice Farma facility, trying to dig deeper, to get more info about Undina’s body. Something shaddy happened here and I will not stop until I found out what. I’m not gonna let them get away. I wonder if they are going to be nice and provide me with useful information.
Of course not! What gave it away? Oh I don’t know, maybe the bullets covering the screen? (yes, they suck at aiming as well). But don’t worry, with my new weapon, I was able to defeat all of them...
… EXCEPT FOR THAT ONE GUY. I called Anteen to let him know the status of my mission and while I was locked in the call with him, some dude showed up out of nowhere and shot me in the back. There wasn’t anything I could do… well… apart from dying.
Undina apparently drank a lot of Feral Soda, a beverage laced with Ovidium-348. She was apparently part of some dark, crazy Ovidium-348 refinement and harvest process and that’s why they took her body (I THINK). Sent the logs to Anteen and raced to Serenity Plus to meet up with him and give him the sample I found. I found him with some guys sitting next to him. He basically said: “I really love Biochoice Farma!”. Those bastards got to him and paid him off to keep quiet about the whole thing.
