I made this trailer for a class project featuring James Cameron’s Avatar.
As for my take:
I think the humans were in the right since they offered peace and just came to mine minerals but the option was rejected, let alone the fact that the aliens were so vicious that the only way to talk to them was to pretend they were one of them.
As for the plot holes....There is also a lot of plot armor in the film such as highly trained mercenaries somehow missing the majority of their shots while a navi warrior with the same machine gun riding on an unstable bird that has never held a gun before can somehow aim better, or their arrows being capable of all of a sudden puncturing vehicle armor. You'd think an armored helicopter made by people who can transfer the brain consciousness of a man into a cloned body wouldn't make their windshields out of paper that can be destroyed by small arms wielded by firearm inexperienced aliens, let alone bows. I like the concept and vision of Avatar, especially the sci-fi vehicles and weapons but I am not a fan of its execution
