I'm assuming that we discovered this since I can't find any mention of it anywhere else.

This video demonstrates how to survive a shield break when you're Jigglypuff and there is no ceiling. If another player breaks your shield while the surface you are on is moving up, you'll "hit" the ground and stay there in the shield shattered state.

EDIT: hey since I found this can I name it? I call it the Bacon Burst!
