The Bard's Tale Trilogy is a remastering of the classic fantasy RPG game from the 80s. It includes all three games from the original series, Tales of the Unknown, The Destiny Knight and Thief of Fate. Music, graphics and interface have all been updated to make the game easier and smoother to play. No emulation software is needed. There is a Legacy Mode for hardcore games who want to sit at their desk with a pencil and paper and map out all the dungeons. I'll be taking advantage of the automapping feature to make life a little easier.

In The Bard's Tale: Tales of the Unknown an evil wizard has trapped our party of heroes, and everyone else, inside the town Skara Brae. It's up to us to free the city and destroy the evil wizard.
