Day 55 (Part 1)

It didn't take long for me to catch a reekfish. Ashei had gone back to Castle Town to report her findings to the others. I told her I'd come back and let her know when I finish exploring Snowpeak.
I tracked down the reekfish scent as a wolf. The beast-man did climb up some parts of the mountain, but I still found the path. As I got closer to the top of the mountain, shadow beasts tried to stop us. I had to transform to take them down with ease. The pelts that Ashei gave me were really helpful. After I killed the shadow beasts, the blizzard stopped.
I saw a huge figure near a tree. It was the beast-man. He noticed me approach him. He was very friendly. His name was Yeto. I asked Yeto if he had seen a mirror shard around here and he said that he had. He found one a while ago and brought it home to his wife, but since then monsters have moved into their home and his wife got very sick. Yeto was catching fish in Zora's Domain so he could add it to his soup.
Yeto invited me to his home and I followed him to a large mansion. I went inside. It looked like it had been deserted for years. Many of the stairs had crumbled and ice covered suits of armor and weapons. Was this place an armory?
I went into another room and found Yeto's wife, Yeta. She was a lot smaller than Yeto. Yeta did look very sick. Yeto told her about me and what I was looking for. Yeta says that the mirror shard is locked in the bedroom on the third floor. She's trying to remember where the key is. I told her I'd go look for it. Yeta gave me a place to start.
I went into the kitchen and saw Yeto making soup. He's very worried about his wife. He wished he had never found that shard since it's done nothing but hurt Yeta. I couldn't tell him I intend to take it, besides I don't know for sure it's a shard of the Mirror of Twilight. Midna believes it is, but I reminded her that monsters have been seen everywhere. Maybe the recent freezing of Zora's Domain caused all the monsters to appear.
