Day 40
I've been spending some time in Castle Town. I've met Telma's friends. One of them is a man named Shad. He knows a lot about Hyrule's myths and histories. Sadly, he didn't know much about a dark mirror.
Another one of Telma's friends was Ashei, a girl raised to be a knight. She's more interested in the mountains of Snowpeak. I've heard of Snowpeak, but never found myself wanting to go there. If there's something there, I'll be sure to speak to her about it.
Also, Rusl knew Telma. I was so happy to see Rusl again and he was just as happy to see me. I was about to tell him about Colin, but he said he already knew. Rusl had been to Kakariko Village and saw the children. He's so proud of how strong Colin has become.
Rusl has been friends with Telma and these other people for years. He wants to help me any way he can. I asked if he plans to take the children home and he says he will once Hyrule is safe again. That's fair. It's best to destroy the monsters at the source.
Telma told me there was another man who was part of the group named Auru, but he recently heard word of some strange things happening in the desert to the east. He didn't say what those strange things were.
I asked all of them to keep an eye out for anything regarding a dark mirror. They've all agreed to help.
I intend to travel to Lake Hylia to find Auru. The road to the desert was destroyed so the only way to see the desert is at Lake Hylia. I hope Auru knows about the mirror.
The knight visited me again. He was outside Castle Town. I was out for a walk to get some air and there he was. He recognized the Master Sword when I entered his realm. He was impressed. I'm sure if he could, he would smile.
The knight taught me how to disarm my opponent if he is armored on all sides. While I did the technique well, the knight admitted that it's possible the Master Sword was helping me. He told me to build a strong bond with the sword and to never darken my heart. If I darken my heart, the Master Sword will not obey me.
I promised I would not darken my heart. I will not fall to evil!
