The Beginner's Guide is now the second game I've ever cried at. I never thought I'd be having ethical dilemmas with my YouTube channel until I played this game.

This can be seen as an unplanned follow-up video to my Metal Gear Solid 2 essay. If MGS2 was the reason I started this channel, than The Beginner's Guide is the reason I might one day quit.

Like Metal Gear Solid 2, it seems like it was written specifically about people like me, and YouTube channels like mine. It seems to almost be the antithesis of MGS2, suggesting that viewers don't have the right to share their ideas about works of art, and that they taint them by doing so.

Not only that, we also tend to create our own ideas about a creator based on how their work speaks to us, which in reality, has more to do with us than it does the creators. Separate the art from the artist.

The music in this video is from The Beginner's Guide soundtrack, by Ryan Roth, Davey Wreden, and Halina Heron.
