The Belle Sounds
The Belle Sounds are an American indie-pop,
rock band from Austin, Texas. The band was formed by the husband and wife musical duo, Noëlle Hampton and André Moran in 2012. Hampton and Moran decided that they wanted to experiment with indie-pop music, moving away from the Americana style of music that they had been performing since 1998 as Noëlle Hampton.
Hampton and Moran teamed up originally with Emily Shirley (keyboard, guitars, vocals), Harmoni Kelley (bass), and Lee Marciniak (drums), and began as a female fronted group with Hampton, Shirley, and Kelley featured as the main vocalists. Kelley left the group in 2014 because of touring opportunities with national acts including Kenny Chesney whom she still performs with. Kelley was replaced by bass players Nathan Harlan and Kris Nelson. Their current bass player (and vocals) is Greg Hagan and current drummer (and vocals) is Jim Echels.
