I set a hard limit on $200 to find the greatest GPU deals, ever. Just to tease us during this unprecedented GPU shortage. Anandtech deserves linking to as being the best site to use for this sort of research... provided they've reviewed the products you're looking for.

With hindsight, I should have mentioned the Geforce 1060 as an alternative to the Radeon 480. But then again, when one good GPU comes out it's not long before the competitor matches it with something, so I've tried to cover the first to be released every time in this video. Also, for $200 you'd have had to have got the (even later) 3GB model of 1060, and with hindsight, knowing how long it would have to last you, I would much rather have gone for the 480 4GB or the 470 8GB. But yeah, Geforce 1060 was a slightly more expensive, slightly faster alternative to the Radeon 480, which came out slightly later.

ALso: lol @ the site worrying about Voodoo's DX11 capabilities https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/voodoo2-12-mb.c3560
