When your out of controllers, the best way to farm is a loot route through the end game.
This is primarily a route focusing on gear/weapon crates for mod parts as well as furniture formulas and rare deviant types. (Pup buddy, Butterfly, Voodoo doll, Electric Ball, artisan's hand)
End game gear crates are the only way to get the Lifeforce Boost mod during Phase 2. This is where I got all 5 of my gold lifeforce boosts. After which you can also get them at an extremely rare rate from pro modes, LEA and Forsaken Giant.
These crates respawn every 4 hours and require you to log out and back in.
