In this game, chests have a .2% chance of being a Red Chest, which can hold a high-tier item (C. Sword, Boomerorb, Hookshot, Arcane Gloves, etc.).
To get a Red Chest on the ground floor of the tower with a Kingshook, the best speedrun item in the game, would mean that with optimal use and skill, a speedrun of this game with these parameters would be uncontestable.
