Hi everyone!! My first video to break the drought is here! And we're looking at the Better Records Mod once again. It does indeed work to this day, but with Minecraft 1.12.

Here are the steps for installation, rapid fire version:

1. Install Forge 1.12: http://files.minecraftforge.net/maven/net/minecraftforge/forge/index_1.12.2.html THEN RUN MINECRAFT

2. If Forge won't open or it closes itself after a black cmd screen, download Jarfix: https://johann.loefflmann.net/en/software/jarfix/index.html

3. Install the mod by copy and pasting it into your .minecraft (%appdata%) MODS folder: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/better-records

4. Copy Pasta Shadowfacts' Forgelin into the same place: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/shadowfacts-forgelin

5. Open Minecraft with the forge installation and boom everything should be running

Here are the steps for ETCHING DISCS:

1. Upload .mp3 or .ogg files to Dropbox
2. Click "share"
3. Click "create link"
4. Copy said link
5. Paste into browser and make sure the file plays
6. Copy dl.dropboxusercontent.com in REPLACEMENT of www.dropbox.com : https://github.com/NicholasFeldman/BetterRecords/wiki/Hosting-a-File-With-Dropbox
7. Paste and make sure music plays
8. COPY AND ETCH YOUR DISC

If you get IO Exception or any other errors, it means the mod cannot read the link. Double check your file is a .mp3 or a .ogg and that you copied the correct info. Leave a comment with your question if you have issues.
