The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is a remake of The Binding of Isaac developed by Nicalis and designed by Edmund McMillen. Rebirth is a top-down 2D dungeon crawler game where the player controls the character Isaac (or 10 unlockable characters) as he adventures throughout his mothers basement. As the game progresses, Isaac finds himself in other places, such as the Catacombs, Necropolis and his mothers own Womb.
