I decided to do some black zone experimentation only to find that on the West server during off hours it was super dead. Not a single player in sight during a very long farming session. I still don't think black zones are worth farming even if they're empty, purely because of the time it takes to kill mobs as well as the travel time, but it's still quite fun to open open world chests if there's no one around to contest you from them. I got quite lucky in this video and even managed a legendary chest!
