Movie status: In-Devlopment Hell... Original Creators Daniel Myrick & Eduardo Sanchez have been trying to pitch several scripts for a sequel or prequel to the original Film...Lionsgate now owns the rights but hasnt signed off on anything yet (even though 'Found-Footage' films have are very popular right now)...Sanchez said the sequel would involve all 3 original actors returning (not as the main characters) in some capacity....in march 2013 he said they have come the closest in a while to getting their pitch green-lit.
