The Book of Revelation, KJV; with some occasional speculative commentary, since I talk too much. -_-
Didn't really intend on making commentary, but I just occasionally feel like talking about things; but it's rather clear what's my interjections vs what's Scripture, plus the words of the text are on the screen as well.
But, hopefully that could be of interest for anyone who bothers to read my science-fiction books as they pertain to how I see things, which is just my own SPECULATION and nothing more concrete.
No one but God the Father knows the day nor the hour, so if anyone claims to know then they're wrong obviously. I do think 12:12 may, MAY, provide a betweenness point in the timeline, but if & only if the heavens referred to are the material heavens and those who dwell in them are regular humans and not just angels or whatever. God alone knows though, and I could be wrong with my hopeful interpretation and it could just be like Plato's statement of "only the dead have seen the end of war."
But, here's my reading of Revelation and a few tangents of my own thoughts. Enjoy and hopefully it's interesting/useful in some manner at least.
Oh, and though I didn't say anything regarding the seven churches ordeal, I think it probably both referred to the actual ones back in John's day as well as sects around the very end eventually as well. Often there are things along the lines of both hypothesis & thesis, the smaller version and the greater; so the exact churches back then would be the hypothesis, while the denominations in existence at the end of time would be the thesis for them and perhaps having similar features essentially. Not sure how well they line up with the ones now, but at the end they probably would line up perfectly if this is how it should be essentially.
I could be wrong, I just think and make guesses; but what do I know? So, the Bible is still there, and please do read it for yourself as well. You have a brain that God gave you, feel free to use it and ask His help with wisdom & understanding. In James it says God freely gives wisdom, so ask and you shall receive.
