Well, [adult swim] has started airing a marathon of The Boondocks for the last two days, so I decided to record this. I first heard this theme on the intro to an Empire Today YTP collab, but I never knew it was the theme to this show! Well, anyways, this seems like a very good show as it explores the life on an African American family and has all kinds of black comedy. Also, I love how it’s animated in the anime animation style like other shows like Teen Titans and Avatar: The Last Airbender are. I even thought it was animated by the same Japanese company that made Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure only to find out it was actually animated in South Korea. I also find it cool how not all the black characters are drawn with thick lips, how there’s a mulatto character (Jazmine), and how they even have a girl friend who acts like a black hood all the time. I have seen the Martin Luther King Jr. episode, and it was pretty good.
