OBSIDIAN (forked from OBLIGE) is a procedural level generator for a variety of id tech games. @craneoexmortis4646 posted an addon he made, on the Doom 64 discord, which lets OBSIDIAN generate Doom 1 and 2 levels with textures based on the Doom 64 graphics. Now, to complete the Doom 64 experience, a Doom 64 inspired gameplay mod is required. Here I chose @molecicco's PSX Doom CE with the PSX Doom 64 addon. I figured that this combo of Doom CE mods would adequately adapt Doom 64 gameplay into the Doom 2 format levels of OBSIDIAN. Sans some very minor visual bugs, it's working quite well! Oh and I added my Bandither shader which limits the color depth and adds dithering to grit up the visuals.
