"North of the digsite, a wealthy merchant lives in an old mansion on top of the hill. The house had always had a reputation for being haunted, but now something even stranger has happened. All the doors and windows are sealed with magical energy and terrible noises can be heard from within."

EXPLANATION:
In-game, the sealed door comes before the excavation into the Senntisten Asylum ruins, but Ormod's Last Will and Testament describes the layout differently. He digs deep under his house, discovers ruined stonework, and then he finds a sealed door which he's unable to open.

So either the sealed door the adventurer opens is a different sealed door, and the one Ormod talks about just doesn't exist, or the lorebooks are correct and the house was just implemented into the game incorrectly. It's also possible the lorebook is wrong, but then it doesn't explain why Ormod never saw Senecianus when he opened the door, but Ingram did.

If the sealed door was placed at the bottom of the hole, there would be no inconsistency. I'm going to assume that's where it was supposed to be.

Ormod's Last Will and Testament was added to the game after the quest was released, so I guess it's possible the author of that lorebook misunderstood the layout of the manor.

Or perhaps I'm missing something obvious. If you have any idea, let me know.
