6The golden age for Call of Duty ended with the release of Black Ops 2 in 2012, and during the exo suit era fans had enough. So Activision told Sledgehammer Games to stop whatever you were doing, and make boots on the ground gameplay, a story they did twice also leading to one of the most disliked games I think I've ever had the pleasure to see in Vanguard but that's not important. Call of Duty World War II - a game nobody wanted.
