The Callisto Protocol - Survival Horror? - First Hour
1The Callisto Protocol is free on Epic store right now, so I thought I'd give it a try. Is it survival horror? I'm not so sure right now - so far it consists of being an on-rails experience, with some quicktime combat elements. I'm not sure it's very open survival experience, but it still looks great. It has great graphics and very good performance (60fps on High at 4K).
The game comes in at a whopping 97Gb... which is crazy large...
This game contains strong horror and gore elements, so please be warned.
This is a no-commentary of my first hour's play. I'm pleasantly surprised with the graphics and the atmosphere. The gameplay, however, I'm not so sure. It might be quite restricted and boring after a while. Who knows.
If this video get's a lot of views or likes, I might continue this as a series. We will see.
The only critisism is when you get an Epic achievement, the game appears to freeze (maybe on purpose?) but it does break up the flow of the game a bit.
It's strange, this game doesn't have a youtube topic or autogenerated game page, so I can't classify this game under The Callisto Protocol.
