By far the hardest section of the game so far on Medium difficulty. Here are some strats. First tip is to memorize the 16 or so enemy spawn points. They generally spawn about 4 at a time. After a wave you have a few moments to use healing if needed, so take that time to heal if you need to. A wave being the 4 or so enemies before the little breaks where nothing happens.

Before the fight DO NOT SELL all the ammo from the crates to upgrade anything. I did this and got completely fucked on the boss fight with NO ammo remaining. You need ammo for the boss or its insanely hard to hit him with melee attacks. Luckily I was able to reload an older auto save before the lift section.

Drop all hand cannon bullets and non combat items in the middle of the arena. Stock up from the crates, and only pick up shotgun,skunk gun and batteries. You want atleast 4 batteries on hand. Reason being you are going to memorize the spawns and place all the enemies over the railing or into the fan blades as they spawn. Using the telekinesis to launch them. It has a shitty short range and sometimes enemies escape it, but if done right you can get rid of most enemies in the pit. This leaves the final wave of enemies only which you can take out with melee and precision shots as usual. Try to get some distance and use your shotgun or skunk gun to take them out. The game can be kind of clunky, making this harder than it should be, but this strat made it MUCH easier for me.

The boss is very easy. Just hold dodge in a direction, maybe alternate directions every other swing. Get in a few shots and reload after he swings. You NEED ammo though, so make sure you didnt sell it. When hes kneeling down use 3 or 4 melee strikes, not heavy strikes, to enter his next phase. Weapon switching is shit in this game, so you can see it took a while to get the right gun out. Just do it after he swings.

The boss segment has some deaths edited out to show the full scene. I didnt beat it the first try, but only died a few times once I got there with ammo.
