The Cancelled Zelda Games
Here are some of the cancelled Zelda games that were in development:
The Legend of Zelda: Mystical Seed of Courage - This game was in development for the Nintendo 64DD, but was ultimately cancelled. It was intended to be the third game in the Oracle series, but was reworked into the Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons games for the Game Boy Color.
The Legend of Zelda: The Triforce Saga - This game was being developed for the Nintendo 64, but was cancelled when the development team shifted their focus to creating The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
The Legend of Zelda: Mystical Seed of Power - This was another cancelled game that was in development for the Nintendo 64DD. It was meant to be the third game in the Oracle series, but was also reworked into Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 2 - This was a proposed sequel to Ocarina of Time that was in development for the Nintendo 64DD, but was ultimately cancelled due to hardware limitations.
The Legend of Zelda: Ancient Stone Tablets - This was a game that was released exclusively in Japan for the Satellaview add-on for the Super Famicom. It was broadcast via satellite and was only playable during specific time periods. Although the game was never officially cancelled, it was only released in Japan and was never ported to other systems.
