The capacitance of a parallel plate capacitor is \( \mathrm{C} \) when the region between the plate has air. This region is now filled with a dielectric slab of dielectric constant \( \mathrm{k} \). The capacitor is connected to a cell of emf \( \mathrm{E} \),
