Due to my slow-as-hell upload speed and the apparent large size of TC:R, i won't be doing a full complete upload, but instead will upload it in packs.
Hence why this Remod isn't exactly what it used to be.
That way people can set their game to whatever they want.
Anywho, in this video, i showcase the "Remod Weapons" addon, along with "No Gordon in Cutscenes", "Restored Assets", "HL1-style HUD", "Valve's OST", and last-but-not-least, "Remod Enemies".
Remod Weapons : based from OneManShow's fixed HL2 weapons.
Uses Verttrasher/Vuthakral/themanclaw textures.
The Crowbar/Pistol/AR2 animations are from Mantuna.
The M82 sniper has been replaced with Martysek's Mosin Nagant with the wood texture replaced with a synthetic texture over it due to my lack of HL2 HUD editing knowledge.
Plus, it's nicer to finally have the sniper actually reloads instead of having straight 10 rounds fired semi auto.
Weapon sounds are optional.
Remod Enemies : Combines are based from original Valve's models with JBarnes Combine textures (Metrocops are mb814's), the Antlions are from RapiZzd, Dr. Atomic, and Imortality.
HL1-style HUD : Uses Wally's HUD as base, with the original HL2 fonts being used instead of SMOD's.
No Gordon in Cutscenes : Gordon is now gone in the cutscenes, there are a few issues in that the shadow is still sort of visible, and a few scenes do kinda don't make sense when he's not there, but it's cool for the purists who don't like seeing our MC.
Restored Assets : Putting back most of the original models and such back to it's proper place.
Weapon models are not altered in this particular addon because of the nature of the code that would make the crossbow still fire hitscan bullets and would not make a reloading sounds/clicks.
Right now, i'm having issues with the some of the models being embedded in walls/floors, so if anyone wants to help, that'll be appreciated.
Hence why i also will release the packs further from each other rather than all-at-once.
