After such a hot start to the season Charlotte FC is finally having some problems. Maybe it's that the tactic is too intense and the team is running out of gas. Or maybe the rest of the MLS has figured us out. There could be any number of reasons, but despite morale being high and the lock roomer being great, the product on the field is slipping. Every team goes through this. Let's see if some new faces on the squad can sort these issues out.

On a channel that focuses on so many strategy and 2D combat games, why would I be playing a game like Football Manager 2022? Honestly, it checks a lot of boxes: it's a game that gives you the freedom to build your own team, attributes and balancing strategies matter a ton, there's a lot of interesting metagamaing outside of just playing soccer (yes, I said it), and the matches happen on their own so that I am at the mercy of my choices and roster building mistakes. Yes, Football Manager can be described as a spreadsheet simulator in the same vein as something like Eve Online, but it's a series I've enjoyed for awhile and there's no better time to showcase it on the channel than the founding days of a local professional sports teams. You know I'm all about building things up from square 1. My intent here is to take it all the way to the top.

Note that the first few episodes were recorded BEFORE the first Major Update to FM22 released on the same day as this video (Dec 7, 2021). Things may be a bit different if you try to do this run yourself.
