106Now that we've done the story bit of the game, it's time we tuned each car to the max and see which one is best for each discipline. First up, the Abarth 124 Spider, which is an Italian MX-5...but worse.
Top Speed: Average
Acceleration: Below Average
Nitrous: Below Average
Cornering Speed: Below Average
Handling: weird for a rear-wheel drive vehicle. It's steering isn't quick enough, and it feels as if it understeers when you don't want to. You can fix this by tweaking the aero in the Pro Settings, however that only causes it to oversteer more readily than normal. It pulls slightly better lateral G's than the MX-5 does, but the MX-5 is much more responsive. This is way too sluggish, like an old 60's convertible.
Conclusion: An Italian MX-5, that isn't an MX-5, because the MX-5 is better than this fake MX-5.
