It's been one year since I tested all Rally Raid cars in The Crew 2. For this year in game was added only Ariel Nomad to RR cars if I remember it right. But there were many patches and updates. With first was added new Legendary parts, which have huge impact on perfomance. There was also update on gravity and jump physics.
But there was a one big reason why I didn't pay attention on all these changes, it's called slipstream. All RR events have ghosting mode which make slipstream easy and solo results are useless. Such lame way to forcing players to coop. Imo it's only ruin this great discipline. Leaderboards at least should be splitted for coop and solo results. On positive note, there was added couple events with permanent weather conditions. It's very useful for tests.

Some impressions shortly:
Personally I like very much heavy RR cars since TC1, and I really enjoyed with Silverado 1500 EVO 1, F-150 Raptor Race Truck, Hummer EVO 1, 3008 DKR and Touareg. Escalade also feels fine, but this sound... Very nice handling has Camaro 69 and feels heavy too.

Excellent grip feels on Wranglers. I think it's single car which second edition (EVO 2) I liked.
And ofcourse Ford Focus, how could we to forget about this car. It has a lot of love in RR of TC1 and was one of the best on some races before Wild Run.
RUF (another top car from TC1) became casual, with pretty easy handling compared with TC1, and lost a lot of speed.

Most disappointed were
- Mustang, I expected more from it, still could't find good setup.
- BMW z4 overall great, but it's single car which performed weird bump on some invisible hillock in begining. The rest of route it was great but this one thing ruined the runs all the time. Result could be better without it on 0,5 - 0,7 seconds
- Challenger is also nasty on this route.
And all EVO 2 versions I didn't like, except Wrangler, as I said.

That's all, ask your questions if you have some.
I've put some efforts in this test, and I hope it will be helpful when will be need to pick some RR car.
