4 events you can do in coop to get better result: Drag, HC "South Trip" and Escape with Speedtrap.
On "South Trip", "Pikes Peak Mountains" and "The Strip South" there are few places with back-on-track cuts which I didn't use intentionally (to give a fair challenge some of my friends). But in fact I think that need to bump this topic. It seems like devs don't think that is important issue for the game and not going to do anything. I disagree with it because Summit is a competitive feature, currently main thing in the game and such bugs are unacceptable.
