On the Escape Skill you can choose another ways: backward or to the right (the last one seems better, but not sure because random player's crashes very annoying in begining of the summit).
On RR, HC and Speedtrap it makes sense to do it in coop, to get better result using slipstream.

About wallride (on HC event). This bug was since begining, later in December it was fixed after our multiply requests and feedback. But some people were not happy with this fix and devs decided to bring it back in Hot Shots update (I don't believe that is unintentional bug again is back). And since there is no any penalty for it - it's allowed. Yes, this is not clean driving but if the game has such rules, I can play it like that. If you disagree then you can try to go on official forum and to fight with idiots who requested to get back wallride or to prove devs that it is no good.
