Aiden Pierce might have ruled (or will at some point in the future) the city streets of Chicago with his high tech smartphone, but now we're tearing up the streets in Ubisoft's upcoming giant-sized open world racing game, The Crew. While the Closed Beta doesn't feature all of the missions, it does give full access to the entirety of the United States, letting players explore each of the six main cities of New York, Miami, Detroit, Chicago, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
I was genuinely curious how similar Chicago would feel in The Crew, versus how it did in Watch Dogs. Granted, there were two completely separate development teams for each game, but I couldn't help but think since they're both Ubisoft games, they would have borrowed each other's assets. Thankfully, the Chicago here felt fresh and new, yet still familiar enough to recognize it apart from other cities.
