12The so-called "next generation" promised to revolutionize everything: more realistic graphics, more immersive experiences, gameplay innovation, and worlds we'd never seen before. But... did it really live up to what we were sold? 🤔
In this video, I talk about the deep disappointment I feel with the current generation of consoles and video games. It's not all bad, but there are too many points that make it clear that we were promised more than what was delivered: poor optimization, rushed ports, an obsession with online, microtransactions disguised as "extra content," and how the essence of the campaigns and stories that defined past generations is being lost.
