The Dead Linger has recieved quite a few changed since I last covered it. Unfortunately due to moving onto UE4 means that the devs have decided to scrap the procedual generation (since the engine isn't optimized for it) in place of a static map.

While I completely understand why they have changed to a static map, I am extremely disappointed with the decision. At the time of the game being announced procedual generation was a unique twist on the genre that was really needed to spice things up.

One of the main reasons I stopped playing DayZ Mod was due to static maps and, once you know where stuff is, became boring pretty quickly. It's the sole reason I have played 7 Days To Die for as long as I have.
