The Death Of A Legend | Farthest Frontier - Part 20 (Settlement Survival Game)
191Farthest Frontier continues and Geekvale mourns the loss of a local legend, the Hero of Geekvale, the early provider of the town, Edran, who falls in most dramatic circumstances duelling one of his oldest foes! It's a sad tale but our folk hero gave his life so others could live.
We build ourselves a new forge, that we then upgrade to a fancy-sounding smeltery, that is solely responsible for turning all of our gold ore into fancy gold bars. That's right, we're literally printing money! Money in the form of gold bars but money all the same!
We discover that the game has been updated and as well as some helpful additions such as more information about desirability, there's also a whole load of new decoratives! There's a flag, a flower urn, some barrels (decorative ones apparently) and a festival pole! We can all do some dancing around the festival pole!
However we do need to a bit of repairing because we lose some buildings due to yet another pesky raid, and this time there's quite a lot of them.
Also we welcome our very first Manor house, there's an unfortunate error involving some crossbows and it seems that food is looking a little bit low...

Make sure villagers are properly shoed and clothed to reduce chances of contracting tetanus, rabies or frostbite. Build a healer’s house to quarantine the infected and provide herbs and medicine for treatment.
Fend Off Would-Be Invaders - Choose to play on pacifist and avoid combat altogether or engage with varying levels of raider difficulty to raise the stakes for your town’s survival. Progress from wood palisades to stone walls, build towers and barracks, recruit and equip soldiers in the defense of your town.
