In this video, I go over the general contents of the new Descent Content Pack update in Killing Floor 2, which includes quite a few new things added. First being the maps, there is one community map added called Nuked, and another completely new map called The Descent. The Descent is an introduction to the new sub-gamemode, Holdout. In Holdout, you, the player, go through different rooms every wave in order to reach the final boss. The order of the rooms is randomized which creates a unique mode of survival. The second addition to the game are the new weapons, the spitfire revolvers, and the stoner 63A. The spitfire revolvers, originally a firebug only weapon, are also able to be wielded by the sharpshooter and gunslinger due to the cross-perk system. The Stoner 63A LMG is a tier 4 light machine-gun added to the commando's loadout, which is able of clearing waves of trash zeds with incredible ease. There are also some additions to the Zedconomy in the form of new hats and skins, as well as some bug fixes that should fix a few game glitches/exploits.
