Diablo 2 lead developer David Brevik talks about the Diablo 3 Blizzard North was originally working on, as well as a planned second expansion for Diablo 2 that would have included a new support class: the cleric. The initial direction for Diablo 3 was much more MMO - could Diablo 4 be returning to that design direction? All evidence suggests Diablo 4 is confirmed in development and possibly an MMORPG. Don't expect a reveal at Blizzcon 2017.

Diablo 3 necromancer release date is all but confirmed to be in July, since D3 Season 10 end date and Season 11 start date have been revealed.
