The Division 2 - PVE Skillpower Build
Pure weapon-based/dps builds in The Division 2 are kinda boring to me. Since launch I've been a fan of the chem launcher variants, and lately the seeker mine.
So I've been testing a lot of skill builds, and with some reading through reddit and watching some videos, I decided to build this one up:
Cluster seeker mine + Oxidizer Chem launcher for solo (aoe damage)
Cluster seeker mine + Firestarter Chem launcher for group play (crowd control - makes challenge mode missions easier for the whole group)
The other abilities could use some love imho, but these two (three, really) skills really shine in PVE.
Important gear talents:
-Weapons:
Solo: Spike & In Rhythm for skill cooldown resets & skill damage buffs(LMG's
recommended to take advantage of the Demolitionist passives)
Group: Assault Rifles with Ignited (for the Survivalist passives = assault rifle damage+
damage against status affected enemies)
-Armors:
Mask: anything really, I use one with skill haste for faster cooldowns
Chest: Unbreakable - very important because I don't use any healing abilities
Holster: anything that you need to meet talent requirements or that rounds out your
build
Kneepads: Calculated, to lessen skill cooldowns every now and then, or Patience, but
you'll need to get more defensive/blue stats to meet the requirements
Gloves: Terminate, for skill damage buffs
Backpack: Tech Support, for more skill damage buffs
-Ability Mods:
Mines: +mines and/or damage, the more the merrier
Chem launcher: +ammo and +radius, the bigger the better
Hope this helps anyone looking to play The Division 2 in a different way!
