24Each Formula 1 team carries its own legacy: The victories or titles it has won, important drivers or engineers it has discovered, various revolutionary ideas that it first introduced. However, not all of them started from scratch. In reality several of them continued the legacy of other – in many cases great – teams.
In this particular video we will take a look back at the family tree of those who make up today's grid• trying to find their genes or their DNA if you like, because in most cases where there was a buyout along with F1 grid position rights, factories, engineers, cars and drivers were transferred, making the links between past and future teams even stronger.
