The "DOILUS STAGE" in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (Sega Genesis) - A Wild Glitch Appears!
1,046Here's how to access the infamous DOILUS STAGE in Sonic The Hedgehog 3 for Sega Genesis.
First, you will need to open up the Level Select screen. Note that this code is for Sonic 3 alone, and NOT Sonic 3 and Knuckles. If you don't know how to do the Level Select code for Sonic 3, see the link below.
Once you're on the Level Select screen, choose the very bottom 2P VS option and this will bring you to that BONUS STAGE that looks like a gumball machine. Now this Bonus Stage will loop endlessly until you manually exit with START plus A, however, whenever it loops, the level text will be scrambled in such a way that it will read "DOILUS STAGE."
And whenever you leave this DOILUS STAGE or BONUS STAGE by pausing then pressing A, you will return to the Level Select screen and it, too, will be scrambled!
