Now that Alicia's dream/nightmare has been conquered, Victor must shift gears and focus on freeing the other apartment tenants from the grips of The Dream Machine. First up is Edie. Victor must find a way to put her and her bridge-playing friends to sleep so that he may enter her dream state. A clever concoction of sleeping power slipped into their tea might do the trick. But the equipment and ingredients needed are locked behind doors in Mr. Morton's office that only a puzzle could open. The door code will require some assistance from a walkthrough.

In Edie's dream, Victor revisits her past self in the same apartment with Edie's husband and her mother. Might her mother's judgement be the cause of stress and trauma leading to such nightmares?
