What a great introduction to the game to come this is. Awesome pixelart in vibrant colors, set the scene for a dramatic and sinister story to unfold. The Backdrops breath life everwhere and look so polished. Sadly some animations are just the screen turning to black and the action happens, there are some blanks to fill with what only happens in my imagination by now. The Sound effects and Voice Over is pretty sweet as expected from a Powerhoof title. The puzzles are logical and woven nicely into the story but not that hard. That keeps the game and story flowing but some tricky puzzles are always good to have. Likeable characters and easy to get controls round off a great game to come. The story might as well turn really dark fantastical or maybe scifi in an urban setting, I am excited for the full game!

Synopsis:
Mick Carter's been drifting a while now - never staying one place long, moving from job to job. Forced to return to his old home town, he witnesses a violent murder, is pursued by mysterious armed men, and killed.
