The Earth Warms Up, But The Numbers Don't Add Up. Who Is Fooling Us?
392Upon reviewing the scientific articles published on the subject thus far, one is left astonished.
For the last 35 years, the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has warned us that emissions from the combustion of fossil fuels, predominantly carbon dioxide (CO2), are causing what they call "global warming" of our planet.
Should we believe them? Here we say: NO. Or at least, not entirely.
Our skepticism is motivated by the fact that over the years, a gigantic propaganda apparatus has been constructed, piecing together—like Frankenstein's monster—the malevolent contributions of various lobbies, starting with those in science, politics, and economics. All this to induce entire generations to believe—from school desks to university—in this imaginary "climate crisis."
In these summer days, we are witnessing a further dramatization of the issue and the discomposed exasperation against the so-called "deniers," even accused of "crimes against humanity," a sign of deep personal malaise and goals that have nothing to do with those of a normal scientific dispute.
Is there, perhaps, the weight of some unhealthy ideology beneath it all? Are there perhaps enormous economic interests, maybe stemming from the forced conversion from hydrocarbon energy to photovoltaic and wind power?
The issue is so complex that it sometimes becomes boring and disturbing for anyone, and moreover, it intertwines with two impossibilities: that of being able to predict the climate of our planet, and that of proving the bad faith of certain scientific circles.
