The Elder Scrolls III: MORROWIND - Let's Play Part 02 (Discontinued)
I'm trying out and playing The Elder Scrolls III: MORROWIND for the first time.
Actually, I did buy the game back in the early 2000's as the game released in 2002 for the XBOX and the PC - and I bought the CD-version of the game back then with all the expansions. I remember reading on the cover and buying the game. However, I disliked how battles worked as I didn't know about the 3rd person view, so I never gave it a proper chance - furthermore the game had trouble working whenever I tried to install it later.
The GOG-version of the game did work on my Windows 7 gaming computer though. I still had some issues with adding mods to it without the game breaking down. Yesterday I finally managed to get the game running and so my first ever let's play of this game started.
I'm playing as a Dunmer/Daedra/Dark Elf female, as I always liked the Dark Elves the most when playing The Elder Scrolls: Total War - but also due to always preferring the Dark Elves in various mediums. In Morrowind they have the most bad-ass looking armour plus the game is centered in their homeland of Morrowind.
So I have played quite a bit of the Total War-mod back in 2015-2016, and also have been downloading all versions since but never really found the time to play them. I can say that I also did try Skyrim a little bit on my PS3 a few years back.
Morrowind is a great game with awesome music, great atmosphere, nice visuals/graphics thanks to mods and with an amazing open-world and story. The battle system is cool but I dislike how the enemies in the starting areas are sometimes just as strong as the enemies of later areas. At least some of the dungeons are really difficult even in the starting zone. The game has the same issue as Mount & Blade: Warband which is that no matter how much you work in-game to level yourself up or hand yourself more skill points or better armour, the enemies are still able to defeat you. I think the difficulty is too high on easy.
So I'll be playing at least two long episodes of this let's play. The main issue was that even when using money-cheat to give yourself the best available gear the enemies still managed to kill me easily. So it's a difficult game which is frustrating - that's the bad thing.
Alright, so I plan on playing more of the Total War titles. They do lack women is my critique of them. The original game has many women of every race and some are really sexy. I'd like to see some hot women in the Total War factions.
Btw, I do have a copy of the Morrowind demo that only does include half of Morrowind on the map. I will try to make it playable even though it won't be nearly as polished as the Elder Scrolls: Total War is. It's still different in ways with unique battlefields, animations, strat-models (some are shared,) buildiing-cards and UI interface.
I am a total noob in this game so bear with me, but I am a veteran of the total war-mod - so I know about the regions and factions as portrayed there.
