In this chapter, Elen completes some minor errands for the Fighters' and Thieves' Guilds in Balmora, then ventures outside the town for a visit to the nearby Fort Moonmoth, where the local commander Larrius Varro uses some oddly oblique strategies to rally her to his side in fighting local corruption. Before following his leads, though, Elen goes further out to punish some egg poachers and complete a pilgrimage to the nearby Fields of Kummu.
