Gold Rush!: Part 4 - Over The Isthmus And On To Fort Sutter
1In this episode, we explore the third and final possible road to California that takes Jerrod deep into the treacherous jungle of Panama, as he tries to cut his seafaring journey short by taking a shortcut across the Isthmus; although the land crossing is relatively short, it still brings our hero into trouble with the indigenous population, as well as various local flora, fauna, and nature phenomena. Nevertheless, eventually he ends up in California safe and sound, and we soon find him arriving at Fort Sutter, where he learns some intriguing news about his disappeared brother... and, of course, prepares to start his career as rookie gold-digger around the shores of the Sacramento River.
