In this chapter, after contemplating with his crew what has just transpired on Feros and sharing his reception of the "Cipher" with Liara, Commander Shepard takes a break from the main mission to investigate some new leads that he came across on that planet. The investigations take him to a human colony whose inhabitants have fallen victim to Cerberus experimentation with Reaper technology ("Colony Of The Dead") and to an ExoGeni scientific facility that has run afoul of its own experiments ("ExoGeni Facility"). In between, he also helps recover a valuable data module fallen into the paws of space monkeys ("Lost Module"), rescues some drug-controlled hostages from the grip of biotic terrorists ("Besieged Base"), eliminates the threat of a drifting spaceship crammed with even more Husks ("Derelict Freighter"), and puts the final touch on the sad story of a dead crewman and his psychopathic lover ("Lost Freighter").
[NOTE: This video is part of a complete re-recording of the Mass Effect Trilogy in its Legendary Edition, replacing my previous recordings of the original trilogy. There are no significant differences with the previous playthrough, as the main reason behind the re-recording is not to present a different path, but rather to make use of the enhanced visuals and present everything in higher video and audio quality. In addition to the base Legendary Edition version, the game uses a set of custom-made mods to enhance visual performance even further (LEUITM, MELLO, ALOT, etc.), as well as the "Community Patch" and "Diversification Project" to correct occasional bugs and restore a few pieces of cut content.]
