First up we have to speak about the The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited launch mayhem where gamers have been furious with the difficulties faced at launch.
ZeniMax Online Studios has confirmed that The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited was experiencing a few launch woes on the consoles version of the game. Servers for the PS4 and Xbox One versions went live Tuesday morning and it appears that they weren’t on point. Several users took to the game’s forums to vent their frustrations, with ZeniMax promising to solve the issue as soon as possible.
“Hey everyone. If you have been experiencing login errors, we ask that you please try to log into the console megaservers again. While we are continuing to work on resolving the issue, we have found that the issue has been fixed for some players at this point. We will continue to work on this until it’s resolved for all players, and we’ll provide an update when we can. Thank you again for your patience throughout the night.”
The long-awaited console versions of The Elder Scrolls Online launched Tuesday 9 June 2015 after a yearlong delay. The game originally launched last year on PC with a paid-subscription model. That plan didn’t go so well, and so the game went free-to-play and was rebranded as The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. Currently, some players are able to get online, but the majority are still facing difficulties.
If I am honest I didn’t bother getting this game so do let me know in the comments below how bad it has been for those who have been affected.
Super Meat Boy Joining PS4 and PS Vita and will be Free for PlayStation plus members on launch
The game will be schedule for release in fall. For those who don’t know Super Meat Boy, the acclaimed platformer that was originally released in 2010 for Xbox 360 and PC, and Team Meat co-founder Tommy Refenes says in a post on the PlayStation Blog that the developer was previously prohibited from bringing Super Meat Boy to PlayStation 3 for "very complicated reasons."
So now Playstion fans will be gifted to this cool platformer.
Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice Announced for Nintendo 3DS
For sonic fans there will be a new game mode, called Bot Racing, which will be tied to the single-player while also featuring multiplayer aspects. It's apparently focused on racing and speed, where users unlock character-themed Bots to use.
Since Sega dropped this game trailer I don’t know how i feel about this news as Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric was among the most disappointing games of 2014 and actually put me off sonic games. Maybe with it being done on the 3DS maybe we might get a different experience playing this game but if the previous was anything to go by then i fear for the legacy of sonic. as 2 bad sonic games in a row might not be a good look but i guess only time will tell
Witcher 3 Sells 4 Million Copies in Two Weeks
Witcher 3 has only be around for a couple of weeks and has already hit the 4 million mark of copies sold.
Witcher 3 is what many may feel is game of the year for 2015 so far given its astonishing visuals and story. I am not surprised that the game as sold so well as this certainly is a true representation of a classic game in the new era.
The great news is CD Projekt Red is continuing to support The Witcher 3 with patches and free DLC. Two major, paid expansions are coming to the game, the first of which--Hearts of Stone--will launch in October.
I still haven’t gone that far in this game but I can confirm this is a top game.
HD resident evil zero new trailer
For all resident evil fans Capcom has dropped the first trailer for Resident Evil 0 HD, which is schedule for release early 2016.
Resident Evil 0 HD is set to be released on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. Its very existence is part of Capcom's deliberate strategy to develop and release more HD remasters.
