this particular outcome is not easy to achieve as most wood will try to burn in a uniform manner. the oak wood is wet on the outside and dryer in the middle so the Flames were easy to get into and burn through to the top which creates this amazingly beautiful fire geode. I find difficult to achieve but highly rewarding. I hope you enjoy.
